A very attractive hotel near the town Good parking available Lovely bedroom First impressions very good with attractive grounds and gardens

Dining room was a modern bistro and lacked the ambience of the rest of the hotel although the food was very good. The conservatory breakfast room was very crowded and oppressively hot - we had to move through a very crowded space to the buffet table next door to make toast etc.

Hotel was in a good location with path to burghley house. Hotel is nice and breakfast was lovely.

We was put in a room right next to wedding disco and base was making the room vibrate. Hotel didnt have courtesy of telling us and phone didn't work to call reception. Music went on till 12am

Stayed in a fantastic room (no 11 Chinois). Superb decor and comfort.

Staff need hospitality training. No Lighting to find entrance. Needs signage

The building's interior, each passage, each common room was kept as a reflection of the estate. The food was good. Although an oversalted avocado toast was inedible. The gardens were nice. The staff were friendly and accommodating!

The sparseness of shelving in or near the bathing area in the guest room. A stool was provided.
