Cheap, central location, nice to have a fridge and toaster. Bed was comfortable.

Great stay, clean rooms and friendly staff.

I originally booked a King room for 3 nights. When I showed up the morning of 2/26/2026 I asked if I could be upgraded to the spa room because I wanted to soak after a long day of snowboarding at Mt. Bachelor. The first night I decided to take a super long shower only to find the water pressure was so weak that I had to stand super close to the wall just to wash myself. It ended up not being a long shower. The second day on my birthday 2/27, I filled up the spa tub to see how it works and after pressing the jets button for the tub a bunch of nasty dirt/material came spewing out of the jets. It was really gross. Right after that I walked to the service desk to report the water pressure and tub issue and showed a video of what happened. I was advised someone would show up that day to fix the shower head but the tub would take an extra day. Nobody showed up for the shower head that day like I was told would happen and that finally got fixed the 3rd day on 2/28 along with a cleaning of the tub. I was so disappointed that I didn’t stay that final night and just left for a different hotel for that final night. I asked the front desk if I could get some kind of refund for the upgrade I paid for and I was told I would get a call back from the manager/owner the next day and as expected no call back. I paid $180 to upgrade to the spa room and couldn’t even use it until the 3rd day and at that point I was just disgusted. Staff is nice but the room was a major disappointment. The toilet is also in a very bad, cramped location. If you’re over 5’7 which is my height then good luck feeling comfy taking that number 2. I don’t mind paying for staying but I feel I should get a refund of $180 for the upgrade from a King room to Spa room. I travel to Bend monthly and will never stay at the Cascade Lodge again. I’ve attached pics of the dirt/material floating in the tub after turning on the jets 🤢.
