Baymont by Wyndham Columbus

First room we checked into the shower door was completely busted out in to the bathroom without turning the light on just to put some of my products on the counter and ended up cutting my foot went to the desk said we cannot stay in that room ( Plus you can tell the room had not been cleaned)showed her a picture. She then proceeds to tell me that the room has not been clean for 3 days And she did not realize that. she moved us to another room But when we got off the elevator the first thing you saw was a bucket with water leaking from the ceiling And you can tell that it had been there for a while because it smelt moldy and it was still water. Went to the pool that afternoon People were down there not a problem but they left all their bare cans and all their trash sitting around the ground. The TV and the lobby shows all the accommodations that you get when you stay there except they don't actually offer those accommstations for example it said on Saturdays you get to have omelets made and it shows this elaborate breakfast that you can eat Well that was a lie because they catered to the Mexican people and they had torquitos In scrambled eggs And cereal that's it But they did have hot sauce on the tables that you can eat with your torquitos And no they were not even breakfast ones they were beef. Then when I tried to check out I had to wait I ended up leaving coming back and trying to check out again Nobody was there so I left again came back and finally waited a few minutes more and a lady comes out and says oh you're good. Overall not a good experience. I really feel like I should have been offered an upgrade Or some of my money back for being hurt when I cut my foot

We always stay at this property when we go to Columbus to visit family staff very friendly

Love the gated lot and the grocery store in walking distance

Clean and nice

Close to were I needed to go and clean. Staff was very nice and friendly

Parking places are small

The 1st stay was great, this time it was not. Everything that was great 2 years ago was the opposite this time. I was telling my family about how nice this place is going to be and after checking in they thought I was nuts The check in you have to dial 0 on a phone and the women is right there and was not very nice at all. The Breakfast use to be cook to order and now you better go have breakfast somewhere else.
