Diamonds Athuruga Maldives Resort & Spa

Wonderful intimate and authentic island where you feel at home thanks to an amazing welcoming warm staff from reception to restaurants, from the exceptional spa to the great team managing (water) sports and activities / fun ! Our 2-bedroom water villa is just a gem overseeing the lagoon and corals from sunrise to sunset. We spent Christmas and New Years' eve there and have been delighted by the attention and quality of how everything was organized. It was our first visit to the Maldives with our two teenagers and have been very lucky to pick Paradise on Earth !

モルディブのいろいろな島の中でもとりわけ珊瑚が元気で、スノーケリングを大いに楽しめた。 水上ヴィラのサンデッキが広く、美しい海と一体化したようで大変快適だった。 昔ながらの小さな美しい島で、12回目で最後のモルディブ訪問となる私にとって理想の島に出会えて本当に嬉しかった。

This place was an absolute paradise. The food was amazing. The staff, and people were absolutely amazing, kind, thoughtful, attentive. I have already booked directly with them and not Booking.com as they disclose certain fees that have already complained about

There is not much to dislike about the property. Everything was lovely however the two things I would highlight is that the woke left Maldivian government charge you an extra $12 per day for unnecessary environmental tax, so be wary of that. Secondly the sea plane has a limit of 25 kg inclusive of hand luggage, I was slightly over and had to pay $34 extra which in fairness was for the return journey as well $17 each way. Just be cognisant of that.

What a wonderful stay with Diamonds Athuruga! Every aspect of the trip was phenomenal, from the service, to the dining, to the Villa, to the reef, to the facilities! Nothing could be faulted. Absolute bliss and serenity x

I stayed in Diamond Athuruga in late October with my family. This is a small island and it is perfect if you wish to have a quiet week or two of rest. We loved the food, the beaches and the people working there. Special mention to Mohammed who always remembered our drinks, Amun’s who welcomed us to the resort, the chefs working to prepare the delicious food, Rasheed and Gabriel, one of the staff members there. Everyone there was a pleasure to deal with. We enjoyed the swimming and the snorkelling. There is a great coral reef there with a drop where the water is much deeper. We saw turtles, wild dolphins, nurse sharks and a sting ray. The only negatives are that there is no WiFi in the beach bungalows, there is a lack of entertainment in the evening and no pool or a gym. I still very much enjoyed our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.
