Casa de Isabella, a Kali Hotel

This hotel is now my benchmark for hotels here in South America. It has character, charm, comfort, and more. Raphael at the front desk could not be more helpful. He was the cherry on the cake, the glue that combined all the great elements the hotel had to offer. If you get to stay here, then it will be a highlight of your trip, I'm sure.

The room was a good size and the staff were excellent.

We were put in room 1 right next too reception. This room was incredibly noisy during the night

Fueron muy amables y nos prepararon el desayuno un poco antes de la hora en que los servian porque teniamos que coger un autobus muy pronto en la mañana.

El aire acondicionado hacia mucho ruido y iba directo a la cama.

A beautiful old colonial style building in the heart of the historic centre of Santa Marta within easy walking distance of the beach, the harbour and the restaurant quarter. The staff were without exception friendly and helpful and everyone on reception spoke English. The breakfasts which were made to order contained a selection of traditional Colombian dishes.

The room which was on the ground floor had no natural light and the shutters could not be opened. This is probably a good idea as it is very hot outside but maybe not so much when you have air conditioning.

La ubicación es muy céntrica. El desayuno aunque no es bufet es bueno. Los muebles de la habitación parecen coloniales. El detalle de dejar trapos para limpiarte los zapatos.

No hay una silla en la habitación para dejar tu ropa. Las habitaciones del piso bajo no tienen privacidad pues las ventanas dan a un patio interior y se oye todo. Se oye todo el ruido de la cocina desde muy temprano. Las toallas están muy desgastadas.

Situé en plein centre il faut savoir qu'on entend la musique jusque 1h du matin en semaine mais ces n'est pas très derangeant
