Rocco was very helpful and accommodating correcting a schedule mixup. A great personality. Deborah in the bar was terrific answering our questions and delivering professional service. Great first impression of Verdura.

Wonderful resort, great facilities and courses. Staff are all super friendly and efficient. At the Scirocco Bar my wife and others took the Negroni challenge set by Christian the manager. Get it right get another negroni free. Added to the perfect atmosphere in the bar. All the bars and restaurants are five star.

O hotel tem uma infraestrutura incrível, bem cuidada, com muitas atividades diversas e locais de lazer. A comida excelente, desde o café da manhã até os diferentes restaurantes de almoço e jantar.

All we can say is WOW! Everything about our trip was incredible, from the moment we stepped onto the property until the moment we left. Every day, we were greeted with a welcoming smile at Buongiorno restaurant, where the options were endless and the food was top notch. We felt like royalty with the treatment we were given by the gracious staff, where no ask was ever too much. All of the restaurants on the property were outstanding, there was not a bad meal to be had. Make sure to have the spaghetti vongole at Amara! The pool area was impeccably maintained, with fresh towels and bottles of water given - and even a sweet treat of fresh melon every day! The poolside gelato cart was a nice fun touch as well. We indulged in MANY of the activities that Verdura had to offer, starting with the private on-site cooking class of Sicilian specialties. Here, we had a magical day - cooking in a small house on the property with chef Sergio of Amare restaurant, creating dishes with ingredients picked right from the gardens outside, or the nearby sea. We made a salad with red shrimp from Sciacca, and a traditional Pasta alla Norma. This was some of the most delicious food we ate the entire trip! Our translator for the class, and also a part of the restaurant staff, Andrea, made our entire stay beyond incredible. She took the time to personally get to know us, shared stories about her own family and life, and made us feel comfortable in a situation where we knew little of the native language. She welcomed us at breakfast with a smile every day - and was genuinely interested in our endeavors on our honeymoon. The craftsman tour was a MUST-do activity booked through Verdura. We spent our morning talking with local craftsmen in Sciacca, learning the age-old traditions of ceramic makers, coral restorers, and our personal favorite, the oldest wheat mill in Sciacca. We were blown away by how we instantly felt a part of the culture, even making our way into a bread-makers shop where the neighbors can share the oven to cook food for their families. This was such an intimate approach to seeing just what Sciacca has to offer, and how historic the city is. My husband took a golf lesson with Odin, and came out of it more confident than ever. Odin truly helped him find his 'inner athlete' and learned many skills that he will take to the course for many years to come. We loved hanging out at the golf lounge for a drink overlooking the water after, a must-do experience. Lastly, we had so much fun at our Mixology class at Srirocco Bar with Andreas and Gian. We instantly knew we were in for a treat - we started to learn all about the spirits that were made from the plants on the property, and we were amazed by how tasty the cocktails were. They were not combinations we ever would have tried on our own, cultivated from what was in season at the time. Try the Zagatini! Wound up ordering this all week! The live music at sunset and tasty snacks were an added special touch. A special thank you to the entire concierge team, specifically Angela, Vincenzo, and Rosalia, for perfectly executing all of our off-site excursions and reservations without any issues. Without you guys, our honeymoon would not have been as special as it truly was. All in all, everyone working at Verdura, and in surrounding Sciacca, is so proud to be a part of the culture. We truly felt we were 'living off the land' as the property is incredibly sustainable, even the tequila we drank was made from agave plants on the property! We will definitely be back!!

Perfect location, beautiful property. Everything you can want. Nothing was too much bother. Food was delicious. Staff were amazing.
