Apart Altamira

Really neat and cosy place with everything you need. Little kitchenette for making breakfast and very close to all major attractions. We truly enjoyed our stay there and the place provided everything we needed.

Where we were is not really a hotel but a condo complex. Ideally located with a supermarket next door and easy walking to main attractions and the Metro. Checkin was a bit chaotic as the pool had been cleaned and was being filled the day we arrived so the water was off in our tower. As a result no one could check in 'till later. Maid service was ok but we never new if they would come some days or what time? If your room faces Cerro Santa Lucie you will get good view. However if you are there Xmas and New Year be prepared to loose sleep!!

The check-in is tedious because the reception is on the 10th floor of a different tower. The staff did not respond to the lack of a working phone and safe. The apartment is not wheelchair accessible because of the long stairs between the towers.

we were very happy with our stay. The only drawback was our room was on the road side and at times got very noisy.

Bathroom was a negative,runny toilet, not enough toilet paper, quickie cleaning

Great location, great service and great room. Getting wifi to work was a hassle (only because the person at reception gave us the wrong password and they are in a separate apartment complex, so it was a slight annoyance going back and forth).

There was a significant descordianción between administration of Altamira Apart hotel and you (Hotels.com). I reserved an appartment with two beds and I received only an appartent with one bed. The problem was relieved by placing a sofa bed. I hope in the future you can correct the lack of coordination

My fiance and I stayed at Apart Altamira Nov 7 - 8 and I am happy that I didn't book the hotel again for our stay over the next weekend. My fiance got there and they gave keys to an apartment that was occupied! I could only imagine the entire time someone else coming into our apartment and taking my things. He went downstairs and spoke with the receptionist and they had him waiting for 3 hours for another room! He had just about an hour before he had to come pick me up at the airport. Also, it said on hotels.Com there were airport shuttle included that's not true they cost us about $70 roundtrip. It also states there is a rainfall showerhead and that was not true. They really talked this apart-hotel up and I was really excited to stay but the apartment we stayed in was very small, and needed a lot of maintenance. The wifi passwords my fiance was given didn't work either and the television was smaller than what it stated online. Very disappointing after reading a lot of great reviews about this apart-hotel.

Very dirty. Staff very rude. Paid more than what the hotel can offer. Not worth the cost.
