The Waves at Cane Bay

Check in was not great. The office was very small and full of boxes (not welcoming) and even with prior notice (and hotels.com VIP status, they were not able to check us in early). It also would have been helpful to know before arriving that they do not recommend drinking water from the tap. The view from the room was amazing.

We loved our stay here! We felt comfortable and relaxed. The view off our balcony was unbelievable. They were very accommodating and easy to reach if anything was needed during our stay. There's a very nice restaurant located on property and you're within walking distance to Cane beach and a couple other restaurants. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting St. Croix. We've stayed at other nearby resorts and The Waves was by far the BEST option for us. Highly recommended.

Absolutely perfect vacation. The private balcony with comfortable seating and beautiful ocean views could not be better. The bed is very comfortable. The room is spotlessly clean. There was enough kitchen equipment to cook in the room and we had 3 excellent meals. The staff is very kind and helpful. This was our second trip to the waves and it continues to be our favorite place.

What a beautiful property to stay at! This side of the island is absolutely gorgeous, full of lots of yummy foods & even better drinks. The staff everywhere is so accommodating and welcoming. We will definitely be staying here again!

I’ve traveled many places and vowed to never stay at the same place twice… but this is the one place I will break that vow for. The waves hitting the building you’re staying in offers a one of a kind experience with the ocean both day and night. The moon is absolutely the brightest I’ve ever seen it here, and the way it illuminated the white caps of the waves was simply mesmerizing. The rooms themselves are curated and decorated so perfectly for this location. They are roomy, trendy, and I intend on remodeling my own bedroom with this hotel as inspiration. The kitchen was super convenient. We did a grocery pickup in our rental car before we arrived. Parking at times at the Waves was a little tricky but nothing too crazy. You can walk a short distance up the road to two restaurants and a beach. We appreciated the beach towels and little amenities throughout our stay. Everything is so well done at the Waves at Cane Bay and it’s a beautiful example of how natural landscapes and architecture can collide.

Beautiful oceanfront resort. Room so comfortable and relaxing and the balcony is the best seeing the ocean and listening to the waves. Will definitely be returning.

Very nice hotel on the beach. Great staff. If you stay there make sure to rent a car. Dining is limited, but good food. Plan on cooking your own breakfast.

The views are beautiful and the staff was amazing. There were special extra touches which were lovely. Would stay there again!!

The property is updated and very comfortable it has a unique charm about it. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this to anyone that I know. The staff were wonderful and we're always available for anything we needed. Didn't hesitate and act like we are putting them out. They were very kind. Was a comfort to know that they were always around. The beach is about a 3-minute walk. I would recommend anyone to rent a car. Not only will you be able to just drive to the beach and come back and other restaurants that are right nearby. But you can also explore the island like we did. There are different spots of the island that have great snorkeling you might want to try. Tom and Charlotte were great. Hostesses they didn't seem like staff they made you feel like your long lost family coming for a visit. Check out waves on Cane Bay. You won't be sorry.
