I was pleasantly surprised by the Grand Mercure Jinan. The hotel was a big reason why I enjoyed Jinan so much. From the get-go the staff was super friendly and attentive. I asked for a higher floor. They not only obliged but upgraded me to a suite! The hotel was recently built (September, 2011) and it really shows. The facilities are top-notch and the quality of service leaves little to be desired. I would definitely return.
