The lades who ran it were lovely the room was very smelly in fact the hole house smelt .the trays in shower were you put ye shower stuff were full of rust the tv was just put on top of wardrobe the shower had stains on it the WiFi did not work the safety lights on stairs at top of landing only come on after the first 2 steps so easy to fall as its very dark the breakfast was a disgrace no blackpuding no tomatoes no mushrooms child size portions on small plates other people's socks and underwear left in draw. Front door wedged open all night big safety issue for me as did not feel safe room door was not very secure derelict house next door i paid 210 for this place was nothing like described would like partial refund for lack of items on breakfast and cleanliness of room and the safety issues I had and lack of WiFi hat to buy discaler for kettle as it was bad the dining room had like a laundry pully in in going right across the room and an old settee in it the places we normally stay at were all booked up and no bleach had ever touched that tray I give a good review if the place i stay is good and yes I did waste the breakfast as it was not good at all and yes it was for a 3 night stay and I did try to find another place to stay that we new but no rooms were available so yes we had to stay there and no the second glass panels door is not enough the front door should be closed people have keys to open it so dont see a need to wedged it an please rest assure i shall never book your place again and as the fudge was given we did that because you both were nice not for the accommodation yours is the first place in Blackpool that we have been disappointed in after coming Blackpool for over 30 years i dont lie and dont make things up time to replace the the rusty shower holders and maybe some new air freshener and maybe remove the pully cable in dining area

The hole place the dirt on shower trays the smell of the hole place lack of a proper full English breakfast pall plates and bowls were miniature

The accommodation was clean and comfy. The host and staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The hotel was clean and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were vast and varied. The cost was reasonable for peak season and it's in an ideal location.

It's just a shame that the building is jaded and would really benefit from some TLC/updating.

This was the best hotel experience we've had in a long time. We travelled as a family of 4 and the staff had paid great attention to the reservation details. We had a freshly made breakfast and interesting conversations in the breakfast room with staff and a fellow traveler. That's a rare and welcome experience for us. We were with a child and she loved everything about the stay! We could also get to all our planned attractions/ services by walking from the hotel (7 minutes to 35 minutes). Check in was early (12:30) and could be later (up to 12 noon) and this made a world of difference for us. The building is old (you see it on the outside) but it's extremely well taken care of and has thoughtful touches. We got really good value for money. We'd be happy to stay there again.

As stated, the hotel is in an old building but I do think that the interior and experience more than make up for it.

Th hotel was excellent in every way. Very clean everywhere, comfy bed, spaciopus room nice touch of shower gels/shampoo etc. Lots to choose from with breakfast and all very tasty. Locatin was great for sea and Centrl pier.
