Chateau Madelinot

Extremely outdated and when the wind started blowing my ceiling tiles in the room would be lifted about 6inches from the draft and drop back down.

It's a nice hotel perfectly situated. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly.

Well located near the ferry. The room are not that spacious, a little old, but well cared for and very clean. We had a view of the ocean from our room which was very nice. The only complaint was the plumbing which was very noisy when people obove or below used their toilet or shower, not too nice as people got up early to get ready for the early ferry.

Unfortunately I don't remeber her name but the receptionnist during the daytime was out standing any questions or quiries I had were answerd informative, pleasandly and with out of her way assistance helping me with the planning of any the hiking or Biking tours I wanted to do.

Very pleased with our stay. Motel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and always willing to do whatever they could to make our stay a pleasant one. Beds weren't the most comfortable, but they were definitely okay. WiFi was offered as a free service so intended to make use of it during our stay. Unfortunately it was almost non-existent. We could get logged in but then it was difficult to get a page to load.. just kept buffering. Every now and then it would work not too badly for a few minutes(although very slow), but then we would lose the connection. However we weren't on Isles de Madeleine to net surf so it wasn't a big deal to us. The location of the hotel was perfect as it was only a couple of minutes drive from the ferry. We'd definitely stay there again if we go back.

View from the hotel was very nice. Room was uncomfortably hot even with cool evening temperatures. No A.C..

It was a wonderful experience. Never been to your Island but will have to do it again. Very pleasant staff, nice clean room. Close to the beach. Your Island is very beautiful will recommend your hotel to my family and friends. Thank you for making my stay very memorable.

I ve said what i had to say ......I would not recommend this Overrated place ! FOOD overpriced ! No AC which I new b4 booking .big mistake ! Room out dated !

Nice hotel in lovely location. Just a couple of minutes to ferry in cap-aux-meules with easy access to other parts of the islands - 5 minutes to havr-aux-maisons, 15 minutes from pointe aux loups, 25 minutes from havre-aux-île,close to beaches, restaurants. Nice little pool and hot tub. Lovely view of ocean.
