A MAIDEN REST

I was made to feel so welcome. When ever I’m back in Weymouth I will always stay there. I felt at home.

There was not anything I did not like.

The hotel is on the waterfront with fabulous views of the water

The place is very outdated. My room had a sewage smell in the bathroom and there was very inadequate lighting in the bathroom.

The breakfast was good 👍

The bed was awful,and no fan the room was so warm uncomfortable 🥵 Looking tiered al round.

Breakfast 10/10 Great staff Wonderful sea view Had to unexpectedly leave a day early- host offered a deal if we should stay again which was a lovely touch. Clean nicely presented room

If I were to stay again I would take earplugs as early traffic- this is no reflection on property or host - just a light sleeper.

Staff could not do enough, from Dean meeting us on arrival to staff who served us breakfast. We were made to feel very welcome.

There is no parking, but there is very reasonable to park close by ( Swannery, or train station) There is a road at the side of the Maidens Inn where you can stay for 1 hour it gave us ample time to allow us to unload and load the car.

Nothing was too much trouble for Dean, our host. The room was comfortable, he was accommodating about our arrival time, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and spacious enough for a family of 3. Our bedroom was situated on the top floor with the sea view, which was lovely. The owner is a very friendly person, breakfast was good and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We would recommend and we would return.

There were just the details, we struggled a bit with the noise coming from the outside and had to keep the windows closed, but it's not a fault of the owners of the place, as in general, it would be exactly the same if we chose to stay anywhere else in that area. There's not a car park option, unfortunately, but again, it's not a criticism. It's just to make you aware because it wasn't very clear to us when we were booking. We have parked our car at the Swannery car park, just a few minutes away from the property, we haven't had any issues and it wasn't expensive either as the parking was free of charge between 6pm and 8am and with the option of using JustPark app it was all very convenient.

Was close to weymouth amenities

The amount of stairs to room. Asked for lower floor . Was given negative answer. Yet people were checking in and out everyday. The toilet fan cover was making a loud noise and eventually fell off the fan. And the toilet next to the bed is not ideal. The door didn't give much privacy. Was given gluten containing food when on the dietary request I said I am coeliac. Mentioned it to the manager but did not feel confident to eat in the breakfast room. The room it's self was OK. Our holiday was OK.
