"Enjoyable place to get away from it all for a good price"

Lovely location for a get away from it all few days in Cornwall. Lots of places to visit nearby. We enjoyed a day in Bodmin and would thoroughly recommend the jail attraction. We also went to the Eden project. Great place from which you can explore the local area. We stayed in the self catering cosy nook which had everything we needed.

When we booked the accommodation it said breakfast was included but that is not the case. It was still good value and we had a cream tea on arrival which was a nice touch.

Lovely place to stay, breakfast was brilliant, beautiful area and the staff were lovely.

Only thing I’d say is we were far away from everything, so planning days out was tricky.

Jenny was friendly and very helpful, she provided a lovely breakfast and facilities were good.

TV in room had poor reception at times, but this may have been due to weather conditions.

There was a very good selection of breakfast choices. Cereals, jams, marmalades an excellent full English and choice of toasted homemade breads. The room was clean with all the necessary facilities and the bed was very comfortable. Great location with beautiful countryside views. Plenty of parking.

Everything we needed was provided. We couldn't find fault with anything

Picturesque and peaceful Room decor very ‘Country Living’ Delicious home cooked breakfast with tasty choices Clean and spacious

The size of the bedroom could easily accommodate a larger more superior looking bed; it was a little hard for us, and the bedding lacked the wow factor - compared to most of the beautiful and superior furnishings. The bathroom was clean with quality fittings, but hadn’t anything to put toiletry bags and accessories in or on - except a very thin shelf. The bathroom hadn’t a window, and the small and rather noisy extractor fan wasn’t very quick and efficient for clearing the steamed room after a shower, which in turn caused the large mirror to steam over. Maybe be little irritants to most people, but it’s in the detail that justifies the high end price for the Superior room.
