The Lamb Inn

We have stayed here before and it has since apparently changed hands since our last stay x the rooms were exactly the same , oldy worldy , quirky and creaky , but what was expected and added to the charm. The area is lovely , nothing much to do , but you wouldn’t book there if you wanted anything more . So all good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, nothin was too much trouble .

What could have been better was the continental breakfast . It was very basic and not much choice . The menu for the evening meal was very random ..from deep fried sausage rolls to fish and chips , lamb shepherds pie with Parmesan mash to trout !! That said the standard of the food was fantastic.

It was in a beautiful spot, our room was quirky and just lush we were made to feel so welcome by all the staff especially Robyn ! We had a wonderful wedding anniversary

Maybe more choice of beers on draft later serving for meals on a Sunday but otherwise faultless !

Lovely village location. Very close to all of the Cotswold villages. Staff were really friendly & made us feel very welcome. We felt they went above & beyond to make us feel comfortable & enjoy our stay. Evening meal/breakfast was lovely!!

Lovely continental with a Large choice. Very friendly staff, beautiful location. Rooms very clean and nicely decorated.

Stayed during the heatwave with our small dog. We were on the top floor which was the hottest floor in the hotel. Paid for the dog, but no water bowl, bed etc in room.

We had dinner it was very good.

When we visited The Cotswolds we wanted to stay in a home that had the feel of the area. This inn proved to be that. Our room was on the third floor so warning about small winding steps. We were there during the heat wave that broke all records. This room was 90 degrees, no air conditioning but a fan. Our room was unbearably hot until an employee, Dee found a portable air conditioner. Thank goodness.
