Ramada by Wyndham Udaipur Resort and Spa

- The hotel property was very spacious and with a beautiful view of the Aravalli hills. - the hotel offered good entertainment in the evenings, by organising a traditional Rajasthani folk music and dance performance, which enhanced our experience at the hotel. there were also spaces for table tennis and carrom, which was served as a good engagement for the kids especially. - the rooms werte very spacious and had comfortable beds, good area to keep our suitcases and a big cupboard, and also had a nice vanity in the bathroom. our rooms also had a balcony, as well a private terrace which had a great view of the atavali mountain range as well as udaipur city. - the main restaurant which served breakfast and dinner (included in the half-board room rate), was also a nice space which provided a decent but small spread of indian food. the breakfast spread had good live stations too, which had prompt service. the dinner had good starters which the staff was very eager to provide. - the staff were very friendly and helpful, with very good service and they looked after us well. espcially during meals, they were very hospitable and offered different varieties of starters. the staff, Ms. Pinkey and Ms. Hema, provided great service during the meals. - the hotel is located very centrally and the main attractions are quite accessible

- the bathrooms were unclean: we wanted to use the bathtub in the hotel, but upon removing the mat inside the tub we found dirt, hair and a cockroach, which is unacceptable. we were unable to use the bathtub especially after a long day of sightseeing. - the towels were old and rough, which made them uncomfortable to use. The hotel needs an urgent replacement of the towels and bed linen, as well as the toiletries as some of them were unpleasant after washing. - due to the property being very large, there are a lot of staircases and you have to walk a lot to get around the hotel- which could be a problem for elderly especially, since there is one main lift at the far end of the building.

The location and the overall property was beautiful

The staff and the hospitality was pathetic. First they gave us a different room from what we had booked without informing us. When questioned they immediately moved us to the better room which we had booked. The bathroom had a leakage which you don't expect in such a property and the staff were very lazy when it comes to addressing your requirements. Will not recommend this place as it's not value for money

Property Ambience, Facilities, Restaurant staff exceptional service

Not all activities were free, no one gave us a walkthrough of the property or they provided any information (even after asking ) what is included free of charge, early check in was not provided understand that wedding season but staff gave us our luggage after more than 2 hour of check in and after that i personally had to go and pick it up by myself as they were so busy. This delayed our sightseeing and turned into a wasted day.

The staff kept calling us 7 am in d morning to pay an advance else the booking will lapse. Booking.com clearly mentions that paya the amount at property. Booking wasn't efficiently managed. In spite of providing our email ID at the time of booking, we were told they don't have that information and made to fill in form all over again on arrival.
