Townstal Farmhouse

Loved the town..to get back to the property the hill was a killer..I know there were buses..but on both occasions we walked..threw lack of knowledge whouldent do it again..

The hill...the fella who served breakfast was nice..but his partner..dident speak to us .even when cleaning down the table after breakfast..

Owners very welcoming and helpful. Good location on local bus route. Very clean spacious room.

WiFi was a bit hit and miss in our room.

Spotless, tasty breakfast with plenty of choice and friendly helpful staff and owners.

Felt like a quintessential English experience. Pictured don’t do it justice, it’s very quaint, clean, lots of character. Loved breakfast - don’t skip on it. Walk up the hill was manageable and was cool to explore the more quiet residential lanes of Dartmouth that I probably wouldn’t have seen if we were staying near the harbour. Lovely owners. Onsite parking major bonus.

No A/C so room got a little warm but not too bad. Hill walk would be challenging for someone with mobility issues (but there is a bus) Shampoo provided but no conditioner or body wash so prepare accordingly

Mouldy kettle and very poor water pressure for shower.

The breakfast was exceptional with great options to suit all tastes.
