The staff was very nice

We stayed at the Novi Resort on Gotland and unfortunately it was a big disappointment. It looks like it must have been a beautiful hotel when it first opened, but it hasn’t aged well. There is a clear lack of maintenance, and many small things around the resort were damaged or worn down, which really affected the overall impression. The only positive side was the staff, who were always super nice and helpful. Unfortunately, considering the high price, we would not recommend staying here.

Great location (walking distance to historic Visby and the sea), awesome sunsets, good and fast service when we had an issue with the TV. Ok breakfast and good beds. Nice games, pool and gym. Also nice we could borrow dvds at the reception when the weather was really bad. We loved the soap/shampoo. Practical lay-out of the bungalow (which was smaller than we expected based on the pictures, but worked really well) and fully equipped kitchen.

It was unclear from the description that the bungalow had a separate upper floor where other people were staying. We were lucky it was one person who stayed shorter than we did, because you could hear noises and walking upstairs. Especially loud when the neighbor went up or down the stairs. The breakfast was ok, but we would have expected fresher bread (and also normal milk, not only lactose free). The pancakes were great though! The swimming pool was very nice, but did not really follow the opening hours as provided. Probably due to the weather - when we asked, the staff immediately opened the pool for us. Paying for the hotel parking was a bit weird.

Fin frukostbuffe. Läget är perfekt - 10 min gångavstånd till Visby. Fint, välutrustat gym. Barnvänligt.
