Cook's Lookout Motel

The view from the property is spectacular. Quiet and quaint.

The rooms could use an update.

The views over the Waitangi River Mouth were magnificent, the bed was very comfortable, the owner was very helpful and friendly and the location was very convenient.

The only thing that stopped it getting a higher score were the kitchen facilities. The small cooker was restrictive and there were very limited kitchen utensils. This meant that cooking was a challenge.

Amazing location and the pool was so good for kids.

Nothing.

The rooms need a big refurbishment. I don’t know how this is at an acceptable standard for a motel, I had some of the kids sleep in the car because of what most of the rooms had under the beds ( cockroaches, spiders, ants and stans on the beds) not suitable standard for motel.
