Great location with an incredible view over the bay. Great to sit there with a coffee and enjoy the morning sun.

The place is a bit old and tired. Extremely expensive

The location was amazing. Facilities were more than adequate and well compensated by the amazing views.

The manageress. She alternated between polite and very nasty. Basically we had a plug in hybrid and she was adamant that she was not going to pay for the electricity to charge my car. This despite the fact (as I tried to tell her) it is a PHEV, so has quite a small battery and costs next to nothing to charge. Consequently I spent a lot more on fuel than normal and she spent more than she would have on electricity as we deliberately left lights on all day and night! We travel around NZ a lot, including several visits to The Bay of Islands. Everywhere, until this stay, has been extremely helpful in regards to charging my car.

Location was awesome and the lady was very friendly.

Cleanliness not good. Couch had animal fur in it. TV and fridge were not working. For $380 per night, I would expect a heat pump in the room with fresh towels without the need of asking for it.

Breathtaking views of the bay, clean comfortable affordable accommodation and lovely hosts couldn't ask for more. Thanks so much for having us 🥰

The location was beautiful awesome view the bed so comfortable

The photos on line were not like the room couch very tired was just quite run dowm

Owner was very accommodating and helpful.
