Could possibly do with an upgrade

The caretaker managers were extremely helpful. We loved the cabins that overlooked the lake. They were very clean and cosy, the spa was a nice treat.

Didn't like that the decks need repairing. We were told that the maintenance is taking place soon.

The grounds were above expectation. Very pretty, tidy and clean. It was lovely over the pond. I would bring my family back!

I want to say that the property has a lot of charm and potential — it’s a truly lovely place. However, I believe a few improvements in basic maintenance could make a significant difference in the overall guest experience. There were some noticeable issues, such as broken blinds. The floor in our room appeared unclean at first, though we later realized it was due to staining or marking — it still gave a poor first impression. Additionally, the doors and doorframes would benefit from a lighter, more updated paint job, and the window coverings could be refreshed and brighten the rooms up. With some thoughtful updates, the space could really embrace a modern country-chic aesthetic that would elevate its appeal. I was also told I’d be able to upgrade my room on arrival, which I was genuinely looking forward to. Unfortunately, we arrived mid-afternoon on Friday, 9 May, and no one was available at that time to assist. I would have liked the opportunity to both upgrade and move closer to my children in Room 1. It was a bit disappointing not to meet anyone from the team in person during our stay. I share this feedback with the hope that it’s helpful — the potential here is truly wonderful, and a few enhancements could really take it to the next level.

Great location, whole resort has a very relaxing feel. Beautiful views. Villa we stayed in was lovely and really spacious. Spa was great addition to the room. Like the contact less checkin and thoughtfulness of providing directions etc in the folder.

It was quiet, and our room (villa) overlooked the lake. The spa was amazing, and the garden area was beautiful to walk around. The hosts had tealight candles next to the spa, which gave it a romantic touch.

Everything about the property. Peaceful. Birds etc.

Being out of town the taxi fare to dinner and back was expensive. Flagfall, booking fee plus some other fee meant $10.50 before starting. More than $54.00 return. Rip-off. The area needs an uber.
