Ecuadorean cuisine is outstanding and they did the very best to present it to us during breakfasts and additional meals we requested. We were all there during the crisis with terrorism that accosted the country. The owners asked me, a musician, to play for the guests at a time during which everyone was distraught. Their concern for everyone's well-being and safety were quite moving. I was very reassured that this was perhaps one of the safest places in Guayaquil!

That drug-relate cartels are trying to take over the country. I understand that the hotel had nothing to do with this. Moreover, they took extra precautions to safeguard our safety. We only heard helicopters while the rest of the city was in chaos. This was truly a safe haven!
