The room was very comfortable. Good value for money. Great neighborhood with plenty of restaurants. Great breakfast!

The door to the balcony could not close and I only realized it in the morning, so the whole night my balcony door was left open by the cleaning staff.

Breakfast is plentiful and courtesy hot drinks available 24/7 in the dining room. Evening receptionist provided outstanding customer service and tried to resolve issues as they arose.

This hotel is very run down and in poor condition. I had to change rooms twice as balcony and window locks were broken and the rooms were not secure. Rooms have old furniture and fixtures are worn and poorly maintained. Toilet leaked constantly, drains backed up, poor sound proofing and external noise from event venue next door all contributed to a poor guest experience Indoor pool is not hygienic or safe to use without running the risk of contracting an infection. Pool lighting always switched off and area not cleaned daily. Hidden charges presented on check out - including 'towel cleaning' which was substantive and disputed plus charged twice for laundry service for personal clothing The hotel is not suitable as a location if you are planning on doing any excursions in and out of La Paz. Calacoto whilst an upmarket area is not approved as a pick up location for any tours so you need to factor in daily return taxi costs and an additional hour commute in traffic to go anywhere.

The area is great with nearby restaurants and shops. The room was large and had everything we needed.

The walls seem thin, so we could hear neighbouring guests which isn’t great when you’re trying to sleep.

The staff was wonderful, everyone really nice and polite

No chance is a 5 star hotel! Pool and sauna were filthy! The towels were ripping apart of how old they are. All rooms should have an iron! I took us 2 days to get an iron and our laundry wasn't ready when we were told it would be.
