Phunawa Resort

Great location with regular shuttle to beach, staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was satisfactory with a fair variety to choose from.

We chose a 1 bedroom suite with private rooftop jacuzzi for our stay, the outside area was very tired and run down and not so private as we had other guests walk in on us whilst we were in the jacuzzi, the place is slowly undergoing maintenance which it desperately needs.

Great staff and quiet. Food and drinks were fantastic. Room was clean and spacious.

The bed was too hard for me and I didn’t like the outdoor spiral staircase that took you up to the outdoor terrace.

If you want close to the action, shops, markets, bars, restaurants, This place is about 10 mins by car from that. But has little shops and bars and restaurants close by. 10 mins from the beach by car. A good family based resort with the staff that will help with anything. Lovely staff. Clean and tidy. Stayed in one of the 1 bedroom penthouse rooms, Bed was hard but room was spacious and clean. The pool roof top area is accessible by a spiral staircase, Outside the main door which was a disappointment because I thought it was all on 1 level. Food and drinks were great. I would recommend if you were ok with being a little away from the action.

The staff was very friendly, they have good breakfast, there is a short walk to the beach and many restaurants, they even have a shuttle bus to the beach. Nice and clean rooms.
