Hotel Ristorante La Bastiglia

Das Hotel liegt schön und gut erreichbar am oberen Ende von Spello. Die Frühstücksterrasse bietet einen wunderschönen Ausblick über das Tal. Das Frühstück selbst ist eher einfach (als herzhaftes gibt es eine Sorte Käse, zwei Sorten Wurst und ein hartes Ei sonst nichts). Wir hatten das Hotel wegen dem Pool ausgesucht. Aber der war sehr ungepflegt. Die Liegematten waren verdreckt, das Wasser war algig grün und es wurde nichts aufgeräumt. Auch vermisst haben wir Informationen, was es in der Umgebung gerade aktuelles gibt wie z.B. Märkte, Stadtfeste oder Konzerte. The hotel is situated perfectly at the top side of the town with a nice terrace and a perfect view. The breakfast is very simple if you prefer tasty food (no ham⪚gs). The pool area was not cleaned, the water was slippery and green and the mats were really dirty. We also missed some information about markets, festivals or concerts around Spello.

The staff was extremley friendly The room can use some upgrade, for example a larger TV. I believe the one is 19" in the best case The experience was unfortunatedly damaged by a large scratch that my car suffered overnight in a parking area that the hotel had pointed out to me. There was no help and no concern from the hotel owner

Fairly basic room with musty odor in the hallway. Beautiful countryside and views. Food was good but not exceptional in the restaurant. Self serve coffee machine. Staff was courteous but curt.

great location nice view from the hotel. The restaurant was ok but in Spello and surroundingsyou can find great restaurant like LA CANTINA

Situated at the top of the village and a long way from the station, very helpful Spello taxi is an essential to reach this lovely hotel if you are not driving there.. Our large bedroom had a small terrace giving fabulous views over rolling unspoilt countryside. We enjoyed excellent food in the restaurant, breakfast and dinner, and the reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is located at one end of Spello, a small, quaint, medieval town that we found to be a delightful gem. A short distance from Assisi, we used this town and hotel as a way to avoid the cost and crush of Assisi itself, especially as the high tourist season is about to begin. We enjoyed the hotel and both Assisi and Spello, two similar yet contrasting and delightful towns, all in one visit! Due to construction at this end of Spello at the moment, getting to this hotel was a bit of a challenge, and the parking was not the most convenient. ["If you have a rental car and are driving yourself in Italy, you should expect to get lost!" That's advice that was given to us by some Italians we met and it has proven to be a great comfort ... especially when we got lost!] The clerk at the hotel, Beatrice, was especially helpful and, since we were celebrating my wife's birthday and our anniversary on our trip, she kindly gave us a room upgrade which we appreciated a lot. The restaurant prices are high and the menu choices are limited; you can do better in town. Over-all, we enjoyed our stay and do recommend this hotel.

Did not get a chance to investigate the town, which looked interesting. Food was good and service was excellent. It was a little hard finding the hotel because of construction under the streets. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and the bathrooms immaculate.

Speravo che la camera fosse migliore e la struttura più accogliente. Comunque, il soggiorno e' stato piacevole
