"One night stop as part of Wild Atlantic Way trip"

Excellent landlady, wonderful breakfast. Room clean and tidy. To make it perfect there would be a pub in walking distance

"Nice little guest house"

10.0

Sharamore House is a nice little B&B, conveniently placed for visits to Clifden and the tidal island of Omey Island. The host is very helpful, happily providing information on tide times for our visit to Omey Island, and letting us use her landline to book flights to the Aran Islands (the next stop on our journey down the Wild Atlantic Way) when we couldn't get through by mobile phone. Highly recommended.

Sue and John were wonderful hosts, the room was nice and clean. The breakfast was fantastic with their own smoked fish! The had plenty of good things to suggest for food and things to do in the area!

"Keep Looking. "

4.0

The good -- We had no problem finding the place and our room had a nice view of the bay. Sue was friendly on our arrival and it is close to Clifden so very nice for going in for dinner. The not as good -- it was a fine place to crash but doesn't make me want to go back. It is pretty dated (which as far as decor isn't a big deal to me) but things seem pretty worn down, carpet worn through to the floor in spots, incredibly soft and uncomfortable bed. Basically an older house that could use some updating to better compete with the other B&Bs we stayed at in Ireland on this trip for the same nightly rate.
