Merriman Hotel

Lovely location, very nice hotel and tremendous value. Great bar and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Only negative is that we didn’t expect two single beds.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful part of western Ireland, the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lovely staff, rooms dated but is reflected in price

Staff were very helpful and nice. Room was quite dated and run down for the price we paid. Breakfast was great, I even tried dark pudding.

We had a delightful breakfast. Our server was very nice and helpful. My inquiry about the Dunguaire Castle being walkable was not correct. It was represented as a 5 minute walk. Since one of us was having some walking challenges that was an unrealistic representation. The bar was having challenges with a new coffee machine and the desk receptionist was pulled away and therefore not attentive to the desk. The room and bathroom was very nice, but a little noisy with the street noise and the window open.

Easy to find and interesting building with a thatched roof. Pretty small town and romm basic but comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

I really like this hotel it was beautiful from the outside with little car park to the rear, the staff where very friendly and the food was very good. I found Kinvara a nice little town and I would return again

This was a nice quaint little area. The hotel staff were friendly and quick. Plenty of pubs within walking distance. My only negative experience was through the night. The hotels restaurant patrons/staff were excessively loud. They keep (what I assume are their) empty kegs outside, all we heard most of the night into the early morning were loud talking, laughing and kegs slamming or being dropped repeatedly.
