Château du Colombier

We enjoyed staying in this striking pink chateau set in extensive grounds with countryside beyond, lovely and quiet. The room was furnished in historical style and was spacious and comfortable with a decent en-suite, even if the shower was the sort that hangs over the bath. The best thing of all was the superb dinner, served 'at 7pm sharp' with such care and attention by our friendly hosts, delicious food with a Cambodian inflection. Breakfast was also excellent with an extensive spread.

The staff and food were excellent but our superior room did not feel comfortable and well functioning.

Das Chateau stimmt nicht aus diesem Jahrhundert. Die Einrichtung ist dem entsprechend. Ich gehe davon aus, dass dieses 4 Sterne Hotel nicht jedermans Sache ist. Gewisse Bewertung sind dem entsprechend. Uns hats sehr sehr gefallen. Ruhig, ab der stressigen Welt....

Wonderful chateau to stay in. Host was very kind and helpful and the ambience just right. Breakfast was amazing and our dinner in the evening excellent. Very very good stay.

Gastvrij en zeer behulpzaam personeel maar het chateau lijkt allemaal meer dan het is. Er is wel een lift aanwezig wat heel prettig is. Toch wat aan de dure kant voor wat het biedt aan faciliteiten.

De badkamer had een toilet waar je nauwelijks op kon zitten omdat er een grote muur voor zat. Niet te doen voor oudere mensen en zeker niet voor de wat zwaardere gasten. Bedden aan de kleine kant

Fantastique, le chateau,le parc , le repas, la chambre tout était parfait .

A real gem, if you want the real Chateau experience it’s the place to stay. Wonderful food and reasonably priced.

The garden is sadly not really looked after, access to the lake is overgrown and there is a truly amazing old greenhouse that is falling down, Random outdoor furniture around the place. Such potential it could be amazing.
