De locatie,het personeel,de kamer, het bed en de keuken zijn voortreffelijk!

Het was een prettige locatie (maar wij hebben maar 1 nacht verbleven) met misschien wel overdreven goed ontbijt.

Misschien is het wel handig bij het ontbijt of ze vragen of je een gekookt én gebakken ei lust (en hoe je deze wilt: hard / zacht gekookt én wel of niet geroerd). Nu verschenen ze beiden op de ontbijttafel, wat een beetje overdreven is (ik heb het gebakken ei (niet geroerd) onaangeroerd ;>)) laten staan, wat natuurlijk zonde is. Mijn vrouw heeft het gekookte ei laten staan. Ook zonde. Ook rauwe zalm verscheen op tafel; had ook niet gehoeven voor ons in de morgen. Uit "fatsoen" heeft mijn vrouw die maar opgegeten. Ik houd minder van rauwe vis, dus heb ik die niet gegeten. Als bediening zou ik wat meer uitvragen voor het op tafel wordt gezet.

Één van de pareltjes in Nederland. Wat een prachtige plek met hele fijne gastvrijheid en klasse.

Fantastic property! We reserved one night only because it was completely booked on a public holiday weekend, otherwise would have stayed longer. Our room was in the Orangerie with high ceilings and a very comfortable bed. It was old fashioned (in a good way), clean and cosy, though some upgrading is needed such as a big modern tv set with an option to log in to Netflix, etc). Very friendly reception service and we were offered a glass of blancs de blancs while waiting in the lounge. We also booked bicycles in advance which had been already brought to the front before we arrived. We had a very nice cycle ride to a small neighbouring town and back. It was a pleasure to see lush green countryside. The 5 course dining in the restaurant was le dîner gastronomique (we liked most of the courses prepared by the creative chef), and luckily, we had a table overlooking the pond, the bridge and the golf course of the hotel. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away from the city buzz and who enjoys fine dining and nature.

Not all types of rooms can be booked via booking.com - otherwise there is nothing not to like.

We had an amazing stay at the Kasteel. This is a beautiful place and was the perfect few days to unwind after lots of sightseeing in the Netherlands and Belgium. It was close to a fantastic museum, Kroller Mueller, and the rest of our time was spent lounging, eating and wine tasting. Jorik held an amazing tasting and shared his incredible knowledge of Dutch wines and also treated us to one of his favorites from France. The wine cellar is truly special and we were lucky to have experienced it. Our dinners and breakfasts were excellently prepared by the fantastic chef, Kelvin. The staff took such good care of us. The service exceeded our expectations. Everyone was so nice! Thank you to Evie, Patrice and Ronald for their kindness and great service. We hope to return to this beautiful property someday. Highly recommend it!
