I was disappointed with my stay. The room itself felt poorly maintained… one wall had been painted only up to around 10 inches from the ceiling, with roller marks clearly visible where the decorator couldn’t reach. Paintwork was chipped throughout, the window safety catch had broken off a rotting timber frame, and the remote for the AC was missing. There was nowhere to place toiletries in the shower (and the provided products were not Noble Isle, the bottles refilled with something else). Even the plug socket was awkwardly positioned behind the headboard, and only one bottle of water was supplied in a twin room! Breakfast the next morning was another let-down. Service was chaotic and disorganised, we had to ask for basics such as glasses, cutlery, butter, and even search for a salt seller containing salt! Overall, it seems there is a real lack of attention to detail, leadership, and management at this hotel. Sadly, it fell far short of expectations.

Location and staff were great. Food and drink was fairly priced.

The shower control was stiff so really difficult to use

Comfortable beds, lovely staff, an outstanding breakfast and lovely restaurant in a near perfect location for the town.

The building and courtyard look a little tired and the room we stayed in would benefit from a little updating. We missed not having a fridge in the room.

I didn't like it, it was a terrible hotel.

It was dark (low lighting) and very dirty. I dont know how they get away with charging what they do. One evening, I ordered a glass of wine at the bar, and the bar staff walked off and didn't come back.

This is a lovely hotel . Very nice room , comfortable and clean. Bathroom was excellent. The dinning area was very nice , food was excellent and the staff were so helpful. In the morning for breakfast the lady who served me even made sure my dog got his own sausage for breakfast . Lovely friendly feel about the place and perfect location to explore the town. Highly recommended.

Stayed here several times now and the hotel is excellent. Good location, good food,comfortable room and bed. Lovely friendly staff. Nothing to complain about. Wish we could have stayed longer.On our way home from holiday cruise. We will definately return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Staff were fantastic. All very friendly no matter what their role. Room was very spacious. Breakfast delicious and good choice of dinner options too.

I felt it was quite expensive but then you do have to pay for quality and hotel prices have gone up generally. I would not have been happy with a middle of the road hotel.
