We asked for a cot for our toddler, cot was put in the room but the mattress only went 2/3 of the length meaning if she moved she fell into a gap. Dirty cotton buds were found on the window ledge upon arrival. Also windows weren’t air tight and when the wind picked up there was a terrible draft coming in.

Arrived early than check in and was advised to go for a walk in the town, I understand a busy hotel and turnover if guests but not what expected when they have a lounge and bar. The room was okay, we ate in the hotel for dinner, the started (shared) nachos overpriced and not at all good, the fish and chips was fresh and delicious. The following morning we were advised that breakfast was not included in our booking which was confusing, however due to a big walk that day we paid for breakfast, no option for choices so I paid 15.00 for 2 slices of toast and a coffee.

Location and accessibility to hills. Good restaurant in the conservatory and pleasant bar. Good food . Staff were friendly helpful and polite particularly Amrita who was exceptional.

Rm 19 was close to lift and fire doors which we could hear when anyone went by or used lift.

Meals were fine Location is excellent lovely scenery Different popular places all accessible by car
