"Exceptional"

Borgo Bottaia is absolutely incredible!! Such a charming villa created of beautiful old stone located in the rolling hills of Tuscany! It was EXACTLY what we were looking for for our stay in Tuscany! The views were INCREDIBLE... better than views that we had at most wineries and dinners! The pool, staff, everything was top notch and would highly recommend this place to everyone!

"A great place for vacation!"

The location was great! Near the city but in the nature. We saw roe deer in the field. The place is very nice and quiet, very well restored and organised, very nice to relax and at the same time close to the old town and all the sights of Florence. Our family was very happy with the stay at Borgo Battaia and we will definitely come back again.

The road to the complex is narrow and twisty, but being in the Tuscan highlands, this is to be expected.

"Beautiful, relaxing apartments and great pool"

The apartments were very traditional and spacious. The views were beautiful and the pool was lovely, again with amazing views.

To walk into Grassina was quite a walk, and upon arrival we found very little there. We then realised that we'd need a car to get around (we thought we could get around by public transport easily). The accommodation and grounds were lovely, but we found the town disappointing with lack of places to eat and shop.

"Perfect simple Tuscan escape close to city but quiet and peaceful"

Second time of visiting. Beautiful pool in a beautiful setting just outside Florence. Simple and very clean apartments, cool in summer with mosquito net at windows, and lovely views. Friendly and quiet.
