Econo Lodge Villa Rica

We purchased a non-smoking room. However, as soon as we walked into the room, the smoke filled air hit our faces. The front desk insisted it was non-smoking & offered to spray something to take the smell out of it. We sat in the room for 30 mins before a gentleman finally came up to the room and sprayed something on the curtains and commented that this would make it a lot better. Just because it temporarily lifted the smell, it did not eliminate any carcinogenics within the room but we were not even offered another room. After about an hour, the smoke smell was back and none of us could sleep. My daughter got a nose bleed in the middle of the night from the smoke. We were stuck with this room because there was nothing available at this hotel or anywhere else close. If I could have found something else, I would have left. All of our bags and clothes smelled like smoke and I ended up throwing most of the stuff we took on this trip away. In addition, the tv was so old that we couldn't even take our minds off the smoke by watching it. It was blurry and the picture had yellow tint. The microwave was filthy so we couldn't even heat up any food. And, finally, the tub would not drain so the water was up above our ankles while we all bathed. If someone had cleaned the tub and run the tiniest bit of water, they would have surely seen that the water was not going down the drain. The only positive was that I never saw a coachroach....guess they don't like smoke either!

I paid for a non-smoking room. It was a smoking room and I found pet feces under the table. This happened. Nothing else to be said.

Spent one SAT night during a 10U softball tournament weekend in Carrollton, GA.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! The customer service suck, the sheets had body fluids of various sorts on them which I ask them to change.The tub didn't drain properly so i was standing in water,while taking a shower.Lets see what else, the dresser was broke, the sink didn't work, the towels had hair on them, the room smell like vinegar.It was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had.I have been to hotels cheaper than this one and had way better service.I usually don't write reviews but I do not won't anybody else to go through that.The only good thing about this hotel is location, lot of restaurants and shopping centers.

The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed my stay. I would definitely stay here again. I found everything I needed and the rooms were really clean. The water in the bathroom was just hot enough that I could relax and enjoy myself.

Internet did not work. Had to use mobile hotspot. Was locked out of room and left cold. Door locking mechanism quit working!!! Gonna try the super 8 next door.

Very accommodating, good value for price

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Multiple fast-food chains located within sight of hotel.

Room specs list that EVERY rm has an iron and microwave mine had neither, had reserved the rm for 2 nights and was told by clerk not all rooms come with all listed amenities and that there was nothing she could do about it, however, the King non smoking was a nice size and was clean, didn't care for the 1 creepy set of stairs they have though, will not be back

Older hotel, needs updating but very clean and spacious. Staff is very polite and helpful. We had driven all night, and they allowed us an early check in.
