Noise and bed and pillows very uncomfortable. Had no sleep at all.

Very busy on arrival with staff stressed and flustered. Won't stay there again.

Excellent proximity to airport (we walked with luggage) and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and I appreciated being able to get black pudding freshly cooked to order. The shower was good and hot and with a reasonably good non-slip floor. The bed and pillows was extremely comfortable and the room was perfectly quiet. The staff were uniformly excellent, helpful and friendly. Full marks there.

We arrived after 10 pm (Ryanair!!) and were told we could not have dinner because the kitchen was closed. Cold sandwiches were an option. I explained that this was an expensive airport hotel and I expected better with respect to hot food for travellers who couldn't match the hotel schedule for food! The excellent man in the dining area (Abdul if I recall) managed to rustle up some hot chicken tikka, which really hit the spot. 12/10 to Abdul. I complained and explained that I was not criticising the staff to whom I complained and they were good about it! The suitcase opening rack in the bedroom was too small for our medium-size suitcase (aren't they all!!!). It is a universal hotel problem. Where DO you open your suitcase?? You cannot just pick it up and put it on the bed every time you need something you forgot to get out. The bathroom door was distorted and wouldn't shut. The open-sided shower is a good idea but not executed well - water splashes well outside the showering area and doesn't drain effectively.

Hotel very well placed next to the airport terminal, with convenient access for dropping passengers and luggage. Check in was quick and easy and the family room spacious.

The room was slightly noisy being the first off the main reception area and the staff at the restaurant in the morning were slightly abrupt.
