Seiki Kyoto Station

It was very comfortable for the price, decent amenities and good location. Small but cozy; staff were friendly.

My stay was defined by what I assume was an administrative mix up. My room was seemingly double booked so another guest unlocked my door and almost entered while I wasn't fit to receive visitors. After an awkward exchange they went to the lobby and I hoped that was the end of it. But the next morning my door was unlocked again, this time by a member of staff who also wasn't expecting me, then he handed me an extra key after another awkward exchange. I was given something of a warning beforehand but I didn't really expect it to happen, let alone twice. I understand mistakes happen but it's unfortunate, and could have made another solo traveller feel much worse.

When I reported significant leaks to the shower hose staff were quick to offer a new room.

There was minimum space in the building. Not a good venue for meeting other travellers.

Très bon emplacement non loin de la gare . Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages le matin du départ pour une dernière visite.

Accessibilité au sanitaires par une marche très haute , chambre assez bruyante , pas de rideau pour occulter un peu les lumières de la rue .
