Petra Beach Hotel

This hotel really should be 4*, however I understand it cant due to not having a restaurant. Overall everything is done to a very high standard and looks nearly new. The staff are very good and the bar snacks and meals are good quality, and lots of it. They have an air con system that works on quiet mode, and you really cant hear it working but still keeps the room cool, very impressed.

Absolutely amazing hotel and for the location and price it’s unmatched

The hotel is situated almost at the end of the main venue running alongside the ocean in Chersonisos. The hotel personel were absolutely great in their welcome and providing us with a list of things to see and do in eastern Crete. A person or a couple could have a very nice day just staying on the hotel grounds and enjoying the pool and surroundings. Beautiful sea view from our room and the location is very quiet in spite of the 'resort' atmosphere of the main street in Chersonisos. There is an excellent fish tavern about 75 feet off to the right from the hotel front. Don't bother going anywhere else along the ocean. There are also excellent taverns in the upper part and old Chersonisos. Chersonisos is a good location from where to explore eastern Crete.

Wonderful hotel in a perfect location, close enough to all the resturants and far enough away from the louder part of the strip.

Petra Beach Hotel is a fairly small Hotel in a great location, just yards away from the sea, The Hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are all very friendly and will help with anything. Speak to the manager about sandy beaches to visit and the villages up the hill, very traditional, but lovely for a meal in the evening. Overall a lovely holiday in a great hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised by this lovely hotel. Modern décor with good views to pool & sea. Staff friendly & helpful. Great location, quiet but close to seafront restaurants.

Good open swimming pool in the hotel's court under my balcony. Beyond the court, a pedestrian road and a stony beach immediately after it. A sandy beach is located within 2 hundred meters. The room was large with a sofa, an armchair, one round coffee table one one a desk type table. very good shower. Also in the room were: electric kettle, microwave, one-hob electric cooker, plates, cups, cutlery. Nice breakfast cost 7 euro per person per breakfast. very nice coffee,
