Couldn’t get warm; heating not up to par.

A large room with comfortable beds and amenities like a microwave and coffee maker. The room was quiet.

There was almost no water pressure and the hot water was lukewarm. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy with pot shops nearby and heavy traffic on the street outside.

Nice staff, the heater worked really well . Good quality coffee machine .

It needs a refurb, it’s old and dated. Quite noisy as it’s close to main road . Could do with a good general clean up

You get what you pay for I guess. It was cheap, but it was SO loud with the road right there. I'm not sure if the shape of the building funneled it in but it sounded like trucks were 6' from my head. People (owner's) were yelling back and forth right outside my room at 9:28pm and while it's still early I was exhausted and really trying to sleep despite the truck noise. The mattress was so hard it felt like I was lying on a sheet of plywood. I just knew with the noise and the uncomfortable 'mattress' that I would not get any sleep there. So I got dressed, checked out and went 200' down to the Prestige where I had a quiet room and a comfy mattress. I picked this place because it was cheap but also the reviews were good in terms of noise levels and comfort and I have to strongly dissagree.

This is a budget hotel. You get what you pay for. I stayed in several budget hotels on this trip and this one was definitely not the best. The room had a natural gas heater. It was temperamental and I needed help from staff to get it working. With a heater like that in the room there should be both a carbon monoxide detector and a smoke alarm. There was a detector of some kind on the ceiling but it did not appear to be working. No LED's were lit at least. There didn't appear to be a fan in the bathroom, and the bathroom floor was very cold in my ground floor unit. It was -20C at night during my stay, explaining the cold floor. The room was very small too.
