Chaweng Budget Hotel

Very good

Bed was clean and good, I like hard bed, thats everywhere in thailand almost. Good Air-conditioning. Good window Enough light in the room. Also lights next to your bed very comfy. I could sleep very well. There is only one party car who pass by thats the only very noisy in the street.Enough towels and everyday clean towel.

The receptionist were kind, but their job is also when they show me my room also have to tell me how to get hot water. After 2 nights I wanted to stay more days but they didn't give me much discount, other places gave more. And after booking more days, they did not tell me that I had free breakfast, I heard that on my last day with a smile on his face again. I was very upset because my money was running out. The workers need to do their job and not only smiling. The shower head splashes only one way straight to your face. And the smell from the drain in the shower was teribble.

It’s was a great location close to everything that you might need, seven eleven right outside, atm, restaurants etc, in my experience the best side of the island. Even tho the island has a lot of great spots Bright spacious rooms with good air conditioning, fresh towels and cleaning everyday. Staff was helpful and attentive. They have a tour desk which is great. Best thing without no doubt, the private beautiful beach area with free sunbeds that’s included for all guests . Really amazing. Would definitely book this again

They could improve the cleaning a little bit, don’t get me wrong, it was definitely fine, but it was not 10/10, maybe a 7.5/10

Great breakfast with made to order omelette. The location is good, close to many restaurants and a 7/11. Just an FYI that the pool/restaurant/reception are in the other hotel at the other side of the street. The pool is nice, didn't really get to enjoy the beach because it was storming almost every day.

It is a budget hotel so dont expect much of the rooms. No lift. The room had a strange smell

This is a budget hotel, so do not expect luxury, but as their guest, you are given full access to their other hotel Chaweng Cove Beach, located just across the street with private beach, pools, gym, restaurant with beach view where you have a great breakfast buffet with a wide offer of food, both European and Thai food is served. They serve coffee from coffee mashines (cappuccino, latte, espresso, americanino, and chocolate etc) Liked this coffee more than the coffee served in the bar/restaurant. We stayed in a standard room on 3rd floor (no elevator) looking at the street. I expected big noise from the traffic but this part of Chaweng is not so crowded and therefore much calmer. There was no problem to fall asleep. Room has refrigerator, new A/C which works silent. TV with satelite channels, Bed was comfortable, maybe a bit too soft for my need. Pillows are too big and too filled for my taste. Linen was very clean. Big bathroom with all toiletteries needed are offered, toothbrushes, soap, schampoo and shower gel etc... Towels for the room changed everyday if needed + towels for the beach (change on request). Daily cleaning and refill of 2 bottles of water, Nescafe + tea for the kettle. Wardrobe with bathrobes, umbrellas, slippers (used). Safe available. Hotel offers laundry, per kg is 70 Baht for wash/dry, and and 90 Baht for wash/dry/iron. Scooters available for rent at Cove Beach Resort and you can park scooters there also. Great staff and cleaning. Breakfast is really great. All area is clean and well maintained. Sunbeds and parasol is free on the beach for the guests. 7Eleven, Pharmacy, ATMs just outside the hotel.

The water jet in the shower and toilet is very weak, but this is quit normal. Also the toilet has very weak. We had issues but the staff immediately fixed everything. There is no staff in the reception, but you have all you need in Cove Beach.
