Cosy, comfortable, close proximity to walk to Sassafras.. open fire was very delightful

Lighting in kitchen could have been stronger & better ventilation for cooking Directions (with a drawn map) for short cut to sassafras would be great in guest information book

Everything! Perfect little cottage! Very comfortable! We appreciated even the little details like napkins and glad wrap etc.

The spa bath and bed were comfy.

This place was not good and I’m so unsatisfied for the amount of money it costed. I asked about a pet, they said there would be a $200 bond. Then a week prior to the date they charged me $60 when they didn’t tell me that when I asked over a month prior to that date. I was extremely unhappy that they sent me an email about 50% off an extra night, when I went to book they said it was an accident it wasn’t meant for me as I had to have two or more nights stay, but that wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the email. So I was already deeply disappointed and not happy then comes the night we stay. It was extremely close to the other cottage not even a full car length away. Which I didn’t think it would be the close from the photos. My partner went outside with the dog and could hear me chopping things. So everyone can hear everything. Someone was doing the garden and had a loud/ noisy garden buggy drive near our window and did it for a while outside. which isn’t very quiet nor romantic little getaway. They had a sign near the door about welcoming us to the stay and that there are complementary slippers but there were none.I would never recommend this place. I was terribly dissatisfied with this stay for the amount of money this place costed.

All basic necessities provided for. Comfy bed. Place is pretty much as pictured in listing.

Minor gripe - listing said slippers provided but I couldn’t find any. Would have brought my own if I’d known none were available. A slightly bigger gripe - robes, towels and to a lesser extent the bed linen, had obviously been laundered with a strongly artificially scented detergent. Not good for someone with chemical sensitivities. The scent ended up all over my clothes, and even hair. It would be nice if hosts would consider using neutral cleaning products for those of us with health issues.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful

When I called put down my security deposit, I asked the host, Karen for some advice on shops for food etc. she was very unhelpful. And pretty much told me to Google it. We also asked for a late check out, which we were told we couldn’t have, however it took us almost a half hour to get an Uber and we were still waiting for one at 11:30am, our check out was for 11am. No one came to the property at 11:30am, so unsure why this request was denied!
