Villa Roussa

Unless one was going to spend no time at all in the room, I would NOT recommend this place. The good things were that it was a convenient location, strong wifi, and a comfortable bad, but everything else was BAD. Here is a summary: * air conditioner completely broken * pool drained and I was not notified of that before booking * tried 7 or more different times to find a staff member and no one was ever around * one of those times there were people's luggage just sitting in there with no one around for a long time * some of the towels were completely frayed at the ends * many items in the room were broken (like a garbage bin) and weird random wires were sticking out of the walls * shower head was broken * no lighting in the bathtub area which was deeply recessed into the wall

Very quiet and pleasant. The room was very warm and clean. The location is excellent and very near to the Caldera in Fira and the Bus station, taxi service and travel information including ferries and other amenities like restaurants.There is no room service and the reception closes at 8pm but the room gets clean everyday. Recommended!

We were put in another hotel for the first night because we were told our room wasn't available. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet and in a good location.

Hotel is run down. Paint and finish are starting to show wear. Pool is decommissioned. Over all a reasonable budget choice. The location is good for a wander around Santorini, to catch a bus or a taxi.

When we arrived they asked us 3 times how many nights we were staying for, and put us in a room with 1 double bed, when I had booked a triple with SINGLE beds (there were 2 of us travelling, they only had a triple room left when I booked pretty last minute). We were told we'd stay in there one night, then be moved, however was no explanation why we were in a tiny box room. I asked as to why yet still no answer and the owner got pretty cranky, maybe the language barrier. Clearly our room was not available, and i was just told we were "getting a very cheap rate". The next day we were moved to a room with a double bed and a single. This was ok, but, as i booked single beds so we didn't have issues with who was going to sleep in the double, this wasn't ideal. We asked where the hot tub was, we were told on the roof, went up to see it was empty. Went back down to ask and they said "yes. because there was bad weather before you came, so we emptied an cleaned it". Such a shame when you look forward to having some water to get into of an evening......emptying this prior to the beginning of September was a real shame, prior to the end of the season. Otherwise, air conditioning worked fine.

Staff never there! Never. Location is great but that's all. Beds super uncomfortable!! Overall very disappointed

Great location near bus station and walking distance to sights out of the heavy tourist area of Santorini. Recommend highly for the rate, cleanliness of room and friendly staff. Can't recommend Santorini as it's too touristy and overpriced in general.

Hotel is convenient and comfortable. It's close to everything in Fira. Room was small but clean.
