Location located around a 30+minutes walk into center with a small number of cafes and a supermarket within easy walking distance. Staff Friendly and approachable and Joel was very helpful with resolving a small problem regarding our room location Food & Drinks Excellent choice of freshly cooked meals.Good choice of drinks for AI clients Room On the smallish side but modern and very well maintained Entertainment A little disappointing ,general low quality performers but certainly not helped by a poor sound system Conclusion Would we return,probably not although the food and service were excellent ,the somewhat isolated location, lack of any daytime activities and gardens were too much of a negative for another visit.

I stayed at Universal Hotel Romántica in March 2026 for 11 nights with my best friend, and overall we had a fantastic stay. Our double room was clean, modern, and well-equipped, with a smart TV and a really nice bathroom. The shower was powerful (always a big plus), and was kept spotless throughout our stay. The only small downside for me was that the mattresses were a bit too soft, but that’s purely personal preference. We also had no issues at all with noise, which made for a really relaxing stay. We went all-inclusive, and I have to say the food was excellent. There was always plenty of choice, and everything we tried was really good quality. What stood out even more were the drinks - easily the best all-inclusive drinks I’ve experienced. They used proper branded spirits rather than the usual pre-mixed options you often get elsewhere, which made a big difference. The adult pool area is on the smaller side, and I can imagine it getting quite busy during peak season, but it was absolutely fine during our stay. We didn’t get a chance to visit the rooftop bar due to the weather, but the main bar had a great atmosphere, with lots of seating inside and a lovely outdoor area. The hotel also has a gym, which is quite small but well-equipped with everything you need for a solid workout. I was keen to use it before arriving but noticed there weren’t many photos of it online, so I’ve attached a few to hopefully help future guests. The location in Colònia de Sant Jordi is ideal if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and relaxed. It’s a calmer area, but still well connected - we took the bus into Palma, which took about 1 hour 30 minutes, and the bus stop is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. What truly made this holiday special, though, was the staff. Every single member of the team went out of their way to make us feel welcome and well looked after. A special mention has to go to Cristian, Matias, Samuel, and Lubo in the bar - they are an absolute credit to the hotel and played a huge part in making our stay so memorable. Thanks to them, we’ll definitely be returning. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for friends or couples looking for a relaxing getaway with great food, high-quality drinks, and exceptional service.
