This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. The biggest issue was the bedding and the complete lack of hygiene standards. The sheets clearly had not been changed after the previous guests. They were covered in hair, including pubic hair, which is absolutely unacceptable and creates a serious risk of cross-contamination. On another bed, there were visible food stains left behind. There was no smell or feeling of freshness whatsoever — only the impression that the room had not been properly cleaned in a very long time. The mattresses were completely destroyed to the point where you could physically feel the metal springs digging into your body while trying to sleep. Getting any rest was almost impossible. The entire hotel felt filthy and neglected. The hallways looked dirty and stained, as if they had not been cleaned for weeks. The rooms themselves were damaged, depressing, and extremely uncomfortable, giving more of a feeling of an abandoned shelter than a hotel. We did not even use the shower because it looked old, destroyed, and unhygienic. We genuinely doubted whether it had been cleaned at all. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance standards of this hotel are completely unacceptable, and it is shocking that guests are allowed to stay in such conditions.

Location and price

No wifi. On website as free wifi. Wifi possibly available on ground floor with all rooms upstairs. Unable to cancel booking or get refund at reception. 3 night stay with no wifi, in this day and age is unacceptable.

Large old style rooms, but no internet was available. The staff were polite. It seems it is in transition , being taken over by a new management. Hope it goes well because it is a nice location and quite spacious
