The Village At Indian Point Resort

This was our first visit, and I was unsure what to expect. The price to stay here is normally above our price range. However, we were celebrating a special occasion and decided to splurge. I’m so glad that we did! We stayed in building 11. Our unit was very clean and had a breathtaking view of the lake during sunrise. The property is very close to Silver Dollar City, making it a very convenient location if SDC is in your plans. We took advantage of the free ticket a day. That was a nice bonus to staying there, and it helped offset the cost of the nightly rental. The only thing I noticed that would be a negative was that the hot water seemed to run out quickly. It was a minor issue and something we easily could overlook. We will be returning at some point in the future!

BUILDING 10 UNIT 5 (1005) Although the area was beautiful and close to Silver Dollar City, we were Very Disappointed we spent our hard earned money there $285.00. The price does not reflect the unit. We knew as soon as we opened the door, the smell, musty, stale and moldy, as if it hadn't been used or cleaned in some time. the entire unit was HEAVILY dusty, carpet dirty, (air quality inside was terrible) mattress's were both were old, uncomfortable, and divoted on both sides, the bedding was old (good thing I brought my own bedding) but my friend said she had to take benadryl because she was itching all night. We wanted to enjoy our morning sunrise on the patio, but we had no place to sit because everything was filthy out there too. The iron didn't work and had a sticky residue on it. This unit needs a deep cleaning, new mattresses and bedding (especially for charging people to stay in that unit) Owners should look at the unit when the sunrise is shining in! Extremely dissapointed! If they have a cleaning service I would fire them! Yet we had to pay a cleaning fee? SHOULD BE CLEANED BEFOR GUEST ARRIVE.

This was our second visit to the Village at Indian Point Resort. Our condo was clean, and decorated in some of our favorites. We rented a one bedroom, but it’s a two bedroom, with the 2nd one locked. We didn’t try the fireplace. We enjoyed the screened in porch on our 53rd wedding anniversary. Silver. Dollar City is in the area.

I rated this condo as fair. We stayed in room 1305, unit 5. It was clean. The couch was old and the pull out couch is very uncomfortable to sleep on. The mattress was dirty and unclean underneath. It had a grill outside with old dried food still on the grill. When I went inside to get my key the receptionist was not friendly. She told me I owed an additional $70 for cleaning. I told her I did not receive any info about an additional $70. She said it was standard. Just fyi. I told her our pull out couch was dirty as was the grill. She acknowledged that the grill was not functioning and offered no solution. I learned that you can go online and see each condo and availability before booking. Do it. Personally, I’ll be staying in the Hampton inn next time.

We absolutely loved our stay at the village at Indian point. It was beautiful, check-in was great, very clean, and just thought it was the most quaint place ever.

The place was quiet, peaceful and we enjoyed the wildlife that came up close to the lodge. The pool area was nice, clean, and relaxing.

We go every year. It's a great place to go for a getaway. Quiet and relaxing. They have great amenities to help you relax and enjoy your stay.
