The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. They will talk to you about pretty much anything and take a genuine interest. You can tell they love the hotel because it's spotless in the rooms. The food is delicious as well, catering for most dietary needs - you just have to ask! I had no complaints on my stay, the location was perfect, right next to the open air theatre. Will definitely be going again

I parked at the car park opposite for 24hrs owned by the council when the street parking is free! My bad!

The owners made our stay special. We went to see The Corrs in concert at the open air theatre. The owners had The Corrs music on in the bar for us and Karaoke ready for our return . Brian was very informative about the open air theatre, which was 2 mins away. We were allowed to check in early and we were made to feel very welcome. The venue is location perfectly for the theatre , a 5 min walk away across some grass, and has a sea view . We walked to the south bay for fish and chips and we even received a text whilst we were out from the owners saying to have a nice afternoon and to be careful in the sun. When we came back Brian joined me and my mum in the bar whilst we had a pre-concert drink and chatted to us. When other people arrived in the bar we were introduced to the other guests, as everyone was going to the concert . Brian remembered everyone’s names . We had a lovely sleep and couldn’t fault the room. We were on the second floor which was good as we went to bed before the karaoke had finished. The breakfast in the morning was delicious! The full English was the best I’ve ever had with Costa , Brian’s partners, adding his secret ingredient to the mushrooms and it was the perfect poached egg. Brian chatted to everyone about the evening before and used everyone’s names again , making us all feel special and welcome. When we left we actually felt quite sad saying goodbye. We will definitely be back!
