I had a ground floor room and people walked past a lot even though the path didn't go anywhere

Good location near Shanklin sea front with sea views from the window. Very spacious double room with comfortable bed. Lots of hot water. Good breakfast. Pleasant and welcoming host and hostess. Useful local information provided

A large hotel which could do with some redecorating.

The hosts Bernie and Lesley were lovely people who would kindly advise you on places to visit. I liked the fluffy towels. The room was pretty and the bed was comfy. You could see the gorgeous beach from the window in your room. I stayed for 4 nights and one day I kept in my room feeling not well. Despite my condition, I enjoyed the day relaxing on the bed looking at the beach.

There aren't much. I couldn't tell how to use the shower for assisting hair washing, but I didn't need it anyway. ボイラーの設計の関係でお湯を使いすぎるとしばらくお湯が出なくなるので、日本人の方は要注意です。日本で湯船にお湯を張って浸かる感覚で使うと、最後冷水しか出なくなる可能性があります。

Excellent location, a few minutes from the train and bus stations and even closer to the beach Spacious, comfortable and clean room with excellent WiFi Delightful owners who are very helpful and friendly Good breakfast with plenty of options and Gluten Free (or other dietary requirements) willingly catered for

Like many Shanklin hotels it's rather dated, but that's no problem for me and it's good to support independent businesses

A lot of steps up to the front door which would e difficult for some visitors
