"Nice hotel close to the airport"

I spend just one night after arriving after my twenty-five hour flight from Toronto. I needed a cheap room near the airport just so I could crash after my flight. The accommodations were basic but more than adequate for my needs at the late hour that I arrived at. Just to mentioned that I asked inside the airport how much to pay the cab driver for the 3km ride and was told something around 200 Bhat. In the end the cabbie insisted that it was 300 Bhat and in the morning going back to the airport the hotel manager said it was only 100 Bhat and no more.

"Stop over but nothing more"

The place is dirty and in need of repairs. The surrounding area is awful. The only pluses are 1-it's close to the airport and 2-the staff was great about having a cab waiting for me in the morning when I asked.

"Stay away from this hotel"

This had to be the worst airport hotel I ever stayed. The room was dirty and greasy, so bad that Mosquitos were all over the room. The AC wasn't cooling and the room was musty and nasty. I asked the hotel and they arranged a taxi to take my family to the airport, however, halfway through, we found out it's a "black" taxi - The driver refused to turn the meter on and asked 200 baht for a 30baht ride (9km). The driver said such price of 200 baht was a special arrangement he had with the hotel.

"Not what we expected"

About 15 minutes drive from International Airport so not as close as we thought. Very hard beds and building in need of repair. Lovely people though and the breakfast was great value. The plus side was seeing Bangkok for real not the trendy side. Very cheap so great for students. We felt safe.

Superb location for BKK airport. Not in the best neighborhood but for an overnight airport stay, absolutely unbeatable value for money. Highly recommended.

Stayed only one night. Arrived very late. Staff were very accommodating. Got the free breakfast option. Very good
