Amazing location, cosy and functional, good price

Andrew runs this Lodge and was very helpful, welcoming and works very hard! The property backs onto the golf course and there is a footpath from out of the back that takes you down to the path you use to cross the course to get to Fistral Beach. We had a double bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet, a lot of the rooms are multiple occupancy with shared facilities. The view was amazing from our room over the golf course and to the sea. The bedroom was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. We had a kettle and it was never a problem asking Andrew for more coffee / milk etc. In the communal dining area (there is no food sold at this property, but we knew that) there is a well stocked beer and cold drinks fridge, which was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this property based on Andrew, the cleanliness, the fantastic location, the price and the beer fridge :)

There's nothing really; this is a lodge / hostel with mainly multi-occupancy rooms, it is basic, but very clean and had everything we needed. It is a little tired, but to be expected with the age of the property, but as mentioned, very clean, so personally, I am not fussed by the decor.

Close to the town, only about a 5 minute walk. Based on other places we have stayed in Newquay it's far enough from the town so you don't hear the late night people.

Just a small thing but maybe a bit too much furniture in the room, mainly the wardrobe as you couldn't realy get into it.

Location was great, right next to friscal beach! Staff/manager who ran the facility very friendly, I visited with a young person I support who has autism and LD, he was very accommodating and friendly with her

Beds very uncomfortable, mattress could feel the springs through so bad back when we woke up, rooms could also do with a chain lock on for extra security

A perfectly located hotel that has everything you need. As a solo traveller I was looking for a little bit of peace and quiet and somewhere I could relax and be comfortable and this hotel was perfect. The owner was really lovely and friendly. The room was nice and fresh and clean and the bed was super comfy, and the shower water was lovely and hot!! And the view from the hotel was second to none. I don't think I'll stay anywhere else now! What a find.
