Portcaman House - Bushmills

We had an absolutely lovely experience at this charming B&B in Bushmills. The room was spotless, cozy. It was quiet and comfortable. The self check-in process was incredibly easy and convenient, which made our arrival stress-free and flexible. The breakfast was great and generous. Our host Robert was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to start our day right. The location is perfect only a few minutes’ drive from the Giant’s Causeway. Ideal for exploring the area! We highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a welcoming, well-located, and comfortable place to stay while discovering the North Coast of Ireland.

Excellent property. Very easy check in process. Such a cute room, good size for a B&B. Very comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast and excellent hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend.

Die Lage war sehr gut für Ausflüge zum Giant's Causeway. Auch die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln war gut. Es gab Verbindungen Richtung Coleraine und zum Giant's Causeway. Mehrere Restaurants und Bars sind fußläufig erreichbar.

Das Zimmer hat unangenehm gerochen, vermutlich durch den Teppich – wir mussten jedes Mal länger lüften. Leider musste man dazu auch die Tür öffnen, die direkt im Einfahrtsbereich des B&B lag, wo regelmäßig andere Gäste vorbeigingen – das war sehr unangenehm. Das Bad war nicht ordentlich geputzt, es gab Spinnennetze an den Fenstern sowohl dort als auch im Zimmer. Zudem lag unser Fenster direkt zum Eingangsbereich, was wenig Privatsphäre bot. Frühstück war eher enttäuschend mit sehr geringer Auswahl, und die Handtücher hatten ebenfalls einen seltsamen Geruch.

Room was comfortable and well equiped. Breakfast was good and there was a decent coffee machine that was availble all the time. Off street parking was also good. Robert shared his knowledge on the area we were travelling too, much appreciated.

Nothing much to dislike. The room was on the front of the property so the main road was close, but didn't bother us too much.

Very cozy, welcoming, easy check-in, had hot tea and other drinks available 24/7, nice host, loved the atmosphere!

Only wish would be that it had air conditioning, but otherwise this place is fantastic!
