The Lamb Inn

Roomwas clean and comfortable. Staff were very polite and teh vreakfast was very good and hot. Staff made it clear how to get beack into the property after hres and a 20 minute walk to the town centre and beach

Parking could be better and spaces are limited so a suggestion as to where to park would ahve been helpful

The lamb Inn is in a very good location in the old town part of Eastbourne, a nice walk to town and to The beach. It’s a really lovely old pub with excellent Harvey’s best bitter and very friendly staff. We stayed in a double room with a very comfortable bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Everything was very clean but this is an old pub so it can’t really be squeaky clean if you prefer bright, modern properties, this is not for you! I personally like the framed Victorian illustrations on the walls, but I know that some people found them spooky. We really enjoyed the walk to the seafront through the public parks which just have amazing flowers in at the moment – the herbaceous borders were superb! We enjoyed making tea and coffee and the fresh water and milk in the fridge was a nice touch. The staff was super-kind and welcoming.

It is a bit dark in the bathroom and so quite hard to see what you’re doing when you’re putting your contact lenses in or doing makeup. It is also on a main road so bear this in mind - however, it is very quiet when you’re in the room. Also, a bonus of being on the main road is that Waitrose is next door.

Liked the olde world charm.

Unfortunately it was not mentioned when I booked that the inn is undergoing renovations. The room was covered in dust. The morning lady on duty was very surly and could do with some of the inn's charm!

The breakfast was very good and the evening meal was very good aswell. Everybody was very welcoming and made our stay really good thank you.

L’assenza dei miscelatori per lavabo e vasca possono dare noia all’ inizio ma ci si abitua in fretta, per motivi di spazio la culla non era disponibile

Bath leaked and was like a social housing unit, water everywhere on floor with no screen, dated and windows inaccessible.

The bed was very comfy. They provided an air conditioning unit & a fan. The shower was good. Tea, coffee & biscuits were provided.
