Al Mare Hotel

Great location right on the beach, two pools and plenty of sunbed. We had a really large room with very comfortable bed. It was kept spotlessly clean, fresh towels and bedding daily, also provided beach towels which was great. Breakfast included, a good selection buffet. Staff always friendly and helpful, lovely lady at breakfast always gave me a big cup! And barman who checked sunbeds was very helpful and friendly.

Only thing I would mention is bathroom could do with a face lift, shower doors tricky to close, shower tray was loose and wonky and shower taps difficult to use.

The staff at this hotel made you feel like family. It’s small, 25 rooms. We had a balcony overlooking the ocean, so did four other family members. The views were amazing and two out of nine nights we got to see fireworks.The rooms were clean, air-conditioning was great. The beds were comfortable. And my grandkids loved the breakfast. The tubs were a little tricky to get in and out of for my 84-year-old mother but for everyone else it was fine. Yanni was the best bartender and he can make a great latte. I highly recommend this hotel. I would go there again.

Tolle Lage direkt am Sandstrand. Das Wasser ist ruhig und glasklar. Das gesamte Personal ist freundlich. Hervorragende Arbeit machten die zwei Zimmerdamen. Die Zimmer wurden perfekt gereinigt. Speziell ist Yanis zu erwähnen. Er ist mit Herzblut dabei und schaut nicht auf die Uhr. Wenn Gäste länger bleiben, bleibt er auch. Das Frühstück war gut. Wir würden dieses Hotel sofort wieder buchen.

Der Kaffee aus der etwas veralteten Kaffeemaschine beim Frühstück war nicht sehr gut. Sehr bitter.

Micul dejun a fost tip bufet sudedez, mancare buna dar destul de restrans ca varietate. Terasa unde se serveste este pe malul marii, pozitie superba.

Das Hotel liegt wirklich direkt am schmalen Sandstrand. Schöner Pool, ein Paar Schirme und Liegen am Meer.

Das Hotel entspricht nach meiner 25järigen Reiseerfahrung mit weit über 500 Hotels einem 2-3 Sterne-Hotel, keinesfalls 4. Tsilivi ist eine Nachbargemeinde von Zakynthos und der absolute Ballermann. Wenn man das Hotel gefunden hat, ist man an 999 Tavernen, Bars, Autovermietern, Hotels und Souvenirläden vorbeigefahren. Das Publikum ist dann auch entsprechend. Im Hotel, direkt unter meinem Zimmer war eine 6-Köpfige schrille englische Seniorengruppe am Start, die aus dem lauten Joken und Witzemachen und der Dauerlache nicht herauskamen. Als sie gingen, setzte von der Poolbar unangenehmste Diskomusik ein. Da nützt mir dann die Aussicht aufs Wasser auch nichts mehr. Das Zimmer ist schlicht, keinerlei Verdacht auf gehobene Ausstattung. Ich hatte mich von den Fotos am Vorabend täuschen lassen und online gebucht und bezahlt. Das P/L Verhältnis ist unterirdisch. Da ich aus dem Hotel noch am Abend wieder geflohen bin, ist der Betrag futsch.

Deluxe Ocean View room was very spacious and very large outdoor balcony. The pool and beach were great. Very sandy beach. Chairs and umbrellas are free for hotel guests. Front desk staff were very helpful with laundry and getting us taxis. On site restaurant for breakfast and lunch and bar stayed open until 11. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Would happily stay again.
