"Great location for El Prado and Retiro Park"

This is a great place to stay in Madrid, especially close to El Prado Museum and Retiro Park. There are lots of restaurant options in the area and it's only a short walk to the Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with a great, helpful staff. A good breakfast is served upstairs with eggs cooked to order, which is a rarity these days! We stayed in a junior suite, which worked well for three of us. Just keep in mind that the second bed is in an alcove off the living room, so not fully enclosed. It worked fine for us, and the small kitchen and dining area would allow for good flexibility for meals eaten in, if desired. We opted to eat out because of all the wonderful local restaurants in the neighborhood. I highly recommend Boutike Cibeles.
